This pub is attached to Reading Moat House hotel provides two real ales and a wide range of lagers and spirits for clients and locals alike. The flag-stone floor, ancient fireplace and central wood-burning stove provide atmosphere. There are also many wooden tables outside. A comprehensive menu is available. The pub is often quiet during weekdays, the exception Friday lunchtime especially in the summer. Children welcome until 9.30pm. This pub changes nature when sports events are shown using a large canvas screen, that is otherwise rolled down. Dogs permitted in the bar area but to be kept on a lead.
