Very popular traditional locals' pub hidden away just off the main route through the village. The ancient pastime of conversation is pursued and a wide selection of pub food is available including speciality burgers. Guest beers are from the Marston's group. Burrough Road becomes a well-used public path and bridleway leading to woodlands of the National Forest.
