The Plough is a pleasant little pub in Belsize; once named Hertfordshire's Best Kept Hamlet. The main bar is small and fairly narrow, with comfy seating areas to the left and right of the bar. There is a separate area to the right of the bar where tables are laid out for diners, but meals can be eaten throughout the pub. The pub serves home-cooked main meals, including Sunday lunches, and hot and cold snacks. However, the pub is currently (late Dec 2023) in the process of changing owners, and there will be no food offering until the takeover is complete.
