Dating from 1826, this is a really super pub refurbished tastefully in 2007. It features an award-winning restaurant. All the food for the bar and restaurant is sourced locally. There is a quiz night on Wednesday evening as well a series of events throughout the year, which are advertised in the Pig Issue pub newsletter and menu. As of 2012 the pub also has 10 beautiful rooms, 3 with a spa, and a children's play area. Breakfast served to non-residents from 8am on Sundays.
