Converted from off licence and hardware store in 1974 and now refurbished though retaining old, split level layout. Despite more emphasis on food and lager, the young managers take a pride in their well kept, traditional real ales and what had been a rather neglected pub has gained local popularity. TV sports, especially rugby. Mon quiz. Meals served all day at weekends.
