Grade II-listed former NatWest bank, now a spacious pub retaining many original features including the high ceilings and chandeliers. There are two snug rooms off the long main bar, plus a small back patio An upmarket food menu is offered, including vegetarian choices. Located by the Market Square, the pub is popular with shoppers and theatregoers for the nearby Churchill Theatre, as well as those drawn by its live music on Saturday evenings.

Owned by Fuller's but tenant operated, this has an extensive range of cask ales from the Fuller's stable plus a couple of guest ales. A board behind the bar informs which guest ales are due
