The Orange Tree is one of the best real ale pubs in Chelmsford and was voted branch Pub of the Year in 2014, 2015 and 2020. A second pub for Max and Jess, who also run the Queen's Head in Boreham. A place for conversation and meeting friends. Refurbishment in 2015 has made the separate public and saloon bars both much larger. A great range of beers is served, always something dark. Lunchtime food is served plus a themed food night on a Thursday.
