Friendly cosy pub with flagstone floors and wood burning stove. Its name stems from the ancient activity of "Swan Upping" or marking of the swans on the River Thames. The front bar accommodates drinkers with a separate restaurant and lounge to the rear. Food comes from a traditional pub menu (burgers, fish & chips, pies, steaks) and a tapas-style menu with a selection of around 20 plates.
