With large gardens and a cosy interior with log fires and beamed ceilings this pub is popular with locals and visitors alike. A piano near the bar is occasionally played by the family's son. Food is now only available Sundays and for events (check website). In the bar there are 3 real ale handpumps. The Thames Path is nearby making the pub attractive to hikers. There will be an Airbnb available in the summer. The source of the River Thames is less than 20 miles away. Garden table tennis and badminton.
