At the edge of Holbury Purlieu (and handy for healthy walks) this old, rambling, part-thatched pub includes a mill worker's cottage and a timber-framed and herringbone-nogged barn. The interior is spacious and comfortable, with beams, a brick-built bar counter and a large fireplace. Outside there is a pretty, ornamental pond, a large children's play-area and a Pétanque pitch. The barn serves as a function room and the venue for the frequent music events. Accommodation is in three nicely furnished rooms.
