A popular watering hole on the south bank of the Ouse offering two regular cask beers and the occasional guest beer. The pub is a locals haunt but visitors are always made to feel welcome. The bar to the right is rarely used making the main room lively at any time, so expect to be drawn into the conversation. Beer festivals are held twice a year, usually May and September. They have a popular "Saturday Matinee" promotion with all draught beers at £2 / pint between 11am and 2pm
