This small town centre pub, has a dark yet modern, cosy interior. Downstairs the bar room is open plan with an intimate snug. More seating upstairs surrounds a tiny glass-sided outdoor smoking area in the centre. To the rear of the pub is a large sun-trap terrace, very popular in summer. Up to four changing ales are generally available from local breweries. On Tuesdays there is a folk, acoustic and song session night, and an open mic night on Wednesdays. Summer hours start from Easter.
