The pub has two bars and a large skittle alley, which doubles as a Blues venue once a month, and offers a number of games including quoits; a boules pitch is located in the front garden. A small garden is at the rear with sound structure for smokers, from which you can hear passing steam trains on the Dean Forest Railway.
