Friendly community pub, which holds charity fund-raising events. The decorative interior includes an extensive teapot collection. Busy periods require booking for meals, which are good value and home-cooked, served in the pub and separate restaurant. The pub is adjacent to the river and Swansea canal and is popular with cyclists and the occasional horse rider; horses may be tethered outside. The pub is on the main bus routes to/from Swansea Valley and on cycle path 43.
