This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.

First setup as the Woodhouses Working Men's Club and Institute back in 1919, it then comprised of the two missing terraced houses, which now form its access from the main road.

The club was remodelled, refurbished and re-opened post Covid, in 2022, after selling off its rear car park for housing. The entrance is now down the left hand side, then to the rear.
