Having been closed since 2014 we thought we had lost this pub. But after failed attempts for 'change of use', the pub has had a major refurb and is now serving cask ale and offering very good food; the menu changes every 6 weeks.

General Manager is keen on real ale and will steer clear of the likes of Doom Bar, IPA and Pride. His first offering is Tribute and Whitstable Bay. We welcome back the Malt & Hops! There is a nice courtyard area to the front of the pub where you can watch the buses go by....
