This new-build pub opened in April 2019. Its name is in deference to the adjacent Victoria Tavern, a much larger premises which closed in 2012 and is now a Premier mini-market. The return of a pub to this part of Horwich, once home to workers at the Loco Works and Victoria Mill just down the road and now both closed and redeveloped for housing, is to be welcomed. The smaller scale of the premises perhaps reflects the nature of the modern community pub. However being purpose-built it does feel more spacious than many of the bars which have opened in recent years. There is high bench seating inside plus an outdoor area with picnic tables. Sports TV is available.
