Delightful, 16th century stone-built inn overlooking the village green. The pub has original old beams, an inglenook and a convivial atmosphere. This free house, with its curious logo of a duck dressed in a Henry VIII outfit, is famous for its wide range of food and reservations are recommended, especially at weekends. Bledington is about four miles from Stow-on-the-Wold and is a frequent winner of the Bledisloe Cup for Best-Kept Village award; it is an ideal centre for visiting Stow, Cheltenham, Stratford and Oxford. Good local walks to nearby villages start close by.The guest beers are often local.
