The pub is named after one time landlord Johnnie Ingles. The bar is U-shaped with the main bar as you walk in and a Lounge area around the other side on the way towards the garden. The bar area has grey wood panelling and old photos of Jarrow adorn the walls. The town centre is about 10 minutes walk.
