This early 19th-century village tavern with its striking yellow and black livery attracts locals and tourists alike, with snugs and a wood-burning stove. The landlord offers a friendly and enthusiastic welcome with three well kept and changing beers. Also a wide variety of bottled beers and ciders are available. A beer festival, hosting over 10 different ales, is held over August bank holiday weekend. Food is available every night.
