Situated in a great position near Rutland Water it gets very busy in the summer with cyclists as it is on the Rutland Water Cycle Route. Good-quality home cooked food is available every day. The pub is home to Rutland Morris and Jason, the landlord, is a tourism representative for the county. Fall at the First is brewed for the pub by Grainstore. Dominoes and quiz nights feature regularly. Rutland CAMRA P.O.T.S. Summer 2013.
