Very friendly terraced pub with a strong community feel to it - so much so they got the pub listed as an Asset of Community Value. Families welcome and dog friendly, it has a patio garden to the rear and a decked area at the front. Can be busy when rugby or football is on the television. The rotating guest beer is either from the SIBA range or a local brewery. Tuesday is quiz night and there is live music most Saturdays. Look out for the quarterly psychic night. There are active rugby and golf societies and strong links to local Hertford Rugby Club.
