After major refurbishment of the hotel in 2017 the Village Tavern has been opened up and connects through to the main hotel building providing a proper pub feel. There is an intention to provide a real ale and a pump is installed but ongoing issues with cooling system has meant that as of August 2017 cask beer has yet to be made available.
