This pub is located at the edge of the Myrtle Walk shopping area and close to the railway station. It comprises a large open-plan drinking area with a smaller adjoining games room, incorporating a pool table, to the rear. Various screens are often used to show sports, particularly football and horse racing. A disco and karaoke take place on Friday & Saturday nights. An "Open the Box" competition is held on Friday nights. Children are welcome up to 7:30pm.
