Run by the same family for over 25 years, this village pub has a nice sideline in authentic Indian cuisine, eat in or take away the extensive menu is also available for the more anglo-centric diner. Beers from the Mersea Island brewery often to be had thanks to an Essex connection. The traditional bar has an open fireplace and a pool table is available in the adjacent lounge. The large garden has various child friendly features.
