Large mock-Tudor pub on the main road through the village, next to Boldon Auction Rooms. Downstairs, it has a single open-plan room with a number of separate seating areas, and upstairs is a function room. The guest beers are mainly from larger independent brewers. Meals are served daily. There are several TVs showing mostly sports. The pub has a real ale loyalty card, buy 8 pints get the ninth one free.

Children are allowed welcome until 9pm Monday - Saturday and until 7pm on Sunday
