Dating from 1901, this city centre pub is within the Bishopwearmouth Conservation Area. Located in a pedestrianised area close to the Sunderland Empire There are several large screen TV's including one that faces out to the small outside drinking area at the front of the pub. Note the copper domes at the top of the frontage of this grade ii listed building
