The core of this village pub is a late 16th or early 17th-century half-timbered building with later extensions. It is now one main bar with doors through to a restaurant. The pub has been modernised internally and is bright and busy. Buses stop outside, and there are evening and Sunday services from Cranleigh and Guildford. The pub was purchased by Young's in March 2020.
