An unchanged appearance of the front elevation gives way to an extensively extended and modernised interior. To the rear of the pub there is a car park and extensive floodlit timber decked patio area. Bus 100 runs through the village daytimes Monday-Saturday, but there is no evening service. Unfortunately, no real ale is now served.

Historic Interest

When the Langham brewery Ruddles had a tied estate, this was one of their pubs.
