The main bar is comfortable with a high ceiling and large windows giving a good airy atmosphere. The walls are adorned with beer and whisky memorabilia along with interesting old mirrors and a large ornate wooden clock. A feature is the old horseshoe bar which is in excellent condition and lit by electric imitation oil lamps. The floor is wooden planked floor with line marking throughout. There is also a cosy snug bar.

In addition to a good range of local real ales there are also over 100 whiskies available.

Live music is played every evening to add to the atmosphere.
