A seventeenth-century coaching inn in the unspoilt part of Tarring village. A traditional locals' pub, it has oak beams throughout and a choice of several split-level seating areas, including a cosy lounge with a coal-effect fire and an enclosed rear garden, with a suntrap patio. Darts is played here. A beer festival is held in April, around St Georges Day.
