After a major refurbishment a few years ago, this pub has been transformed. For those looking for a drink, there is a new bar area with sofas and armchairs, and a separate seating area with tables and chairs, separated from the bar by three great stone arches. At the back there is a pleasant garden with plenty of tables and benches. With an open kitchen overlooking the smart new restaurant, the foodies are well catered for.

There are now three beers on, changing often, and are usually from the west country, such as Hop Union and Stonehenge. Note that, as well as lunchtime and evening meals, breakfast and afternoon teas are served at the weekend, Friday to Sunday.
