Friendly and comfortable, traditional-looking pub divided into a number of small areas in a rambling interior over different levels. There is a small bar area and a large outdoor terrace with fine views. Popular with walkers on Boars Hill. At one time a Greenalls Whitley pub. Under new ownership and management several times, most recently March 2022. Refurbished early 2022.
