This traditional old cottage-style Cornish inn is the only pub left in the parish of Sancreed, It is set in a quiet hamlet on the Penzance-St Just road. Reopened late summer 2022 after 4 years closure. A warm welcome is assured at the Fountain, which boasts beamed ceilings, exposed granite walls and a spectacular inglenook and log burner. Sunday lunches (booking advised) are served 12-3-30 as well as food and snacks lunchtime and evenings Wednesday to Saturday. There are occasional traditional music jam sessions on alternate Tuesdays as well as the odd bingo or quiz night. Booking is essential for Sunday lunch. The real ales are generally from Penzance Brewery.
