Situated beside the historic Buttercross, the pub also offers Belgian and craft beers and three draught ciders. The main bar is open plan with a small lounge up a short flight of stairs. There are periodic live musical and other performances and a twice monthly meat raffle. The annual Chippenham Folk Festival at the end of May has performances outside the pub. Not normally open on Sunday evenings.
