A one-bar pub just off Queen Street at the quieter, eastern end of town. Since opening under new ownership, the Flute has become the city centre's leading real ale pub in terms of both range and quality of its beers. Musical performances, often jazz, and other events take place in an upstairs room. Note that, to avoid restrictions, the pub does not open on Principality Stadium rugby international days.
