Housed in an impressive Georgian building, the grand portico entrance leads into an architecturally-impressive interior. The club has active snooker and darts teams, and screens live football matches with the club often laying on free refreshments. The two Cask Marque accredited ales are well-kept and have resulted in the club being voted local CAMRA Club of the Year for the last few years. Visitors are asked to present a current Good Beer Guide or CAMRA membership card for entry. They now charge £1.00 entry fee for non members
