1840 Tithe map show the Landowner and Tenant to be Samuel Jones, but no pub name given. OS 1875 map shows it as the Farmers' Arms. Once a Greenall Whiteley outlet, today it is an open plan style pub with emphasis on dining.

Reopened August 29th. Bar only. Food to follow in due course.
