A 16th century, Grade II listed timber-framed hotel reopened April 2019 after substantial refurbishment both inside and out. Now known as the Falcon Indigo Hotel, it has 93 bedrooms, the Woodsman restaurant which is praised for its venison dishes, and a garden. The bar serves two cask beers on handpump. Opposite the hotel is the site of New Place, Shakespeare's last home. Could the Bard have used this as his local?
