Community hub next to Market Square. Renowned for its friendly convivial atmosphere. Popular with locals visitors and CAMRA members with no music, screens or machines. Always one bitter and one dark beer on handpull plus the House Ale from the local Elland brewery. Summer floral displays. Private room upstairs for hire.

Converted bank with tap room and bar with lower lounge area (two steps). Buses from Halifax stop outside door. Quiz night on Wednesdays.
