A welcoming and friendly community pub with a public bar, saloon bar and small dining area. The garden isn't big but makes a nice sun trap on a good day. There is an interesting history of pub and Simonds Brewery (Followed by Courage and successors) on display. Breakfast is available 10 - 12 noon every day.
Historic Interest
Pub was originally on other side of road. Rebuilt on present site 1912. Part of the old house almost opposite was the old Fox & Hounds, Nell Gwynne is reputed to have given birth to a still born child there however there is little evidence to support the claim.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 0 regular beers.
