A 16th-century pub with inglenook fireplaces in each of its two bars. To the left the main bar leads through to the toilets. The restaurant to the right displays part of an original wattle and daub wall behind glass. A covered and heated patio and the garden are accessed through bifold doors and there are some tables at the front. Good food is available daily plus the popular Sunday roasts. A jazz evening is held on the first Thursday in month. Ramblers are welcome.
