A friendly free house that continues to build on its reputation for good ales, as well as having a fine restaurant serving the best in locally produced food. Situated in a picturesque location, the terrace and beer garden overlook the Ashby Canal and famous site of the Battle of Bosworth (1485).

Popular with walkers and cyclists.

The bar boasts three LocAles which are re-badged for the pub. Battlefield Brewery: Henry Tudor, Richard III and Let Battle Commence.
