Large Ember Inns' pub overlooking Tettenhall green.

Comfortable Ember Inns pub arranged around a large U-shaped bar with a family dining area and bar / lounge section. The bar and lounge section encompasses the bay window area (where the, normally muted, Freeview TV is housed) to the right of the main entrance with high tables and bar stools and the rear part of the pub with lower tables and chairs. Both the dining side and bar lounge side feature signature Ember Inns gas fireplaces. The bar lounge section is a dog friendly area.

The pub was sympathetically refurbished in autumn 2018 sacrificing a portion of the bar for some extra seating.

There are three regular ales and a further guest ale drawn from the M&B list. Monday and Thursday night is Cask Ale Club offering all ale at reduced prices.

The pub is well attended, particularly on weekend evenings, with a friendly atmosphere. Monthly live music, popular fortnightly open mic nights on Wednesdays and a weekly Sunday quiz provide entertainment. A patio at the front allows outside drinking and car parking is available at the front and rear. Sections of the pub, including the bar / lounge area can be booked for functions.
