In the middle of a peaceful Dorset village, this busy local is popular with locals and walkers. A two roomed 18th-century Grade II listed inn,an inglenook dominates the front bar with a low beamed dining room at the back. The garden still has the original well and a handsome thatched cottage. Good hearty home-cooked food includes a children's menu.
