Nestling in the quaint village of Lower Peover, the cobble-fronted 17th Centry Crown provides quality food and drink in relaxed surroundings and you can enjoy dinner on the patio in the summer months.

Three rooms with low ceilings cluster round a central bar and an open fire and a log burner make for a warm and welcoming traditional country pub.

Well-behaved children and dogs are welcome.

There is plenty of parking space and the Crown ticks a lot of boxes, offering Monday darts, Tuesday quiz nights, live music once a month, an 'open mic' night on the second Thursday of every month, the traditional local Gooseberry Competitions on the last Saturday in July and first Saturday in August and even hosts its own music festival in mid-July.

The pub may close early Winter evenings if quiet.

** FOOD IS NOT AVAILABLE AS YET AFTER THE APRIL 2023 REOPENING BUT IS PLANNED TO RESTART** Meanwhile there are regular pop up food events - Sushi, Indian plus a fish and chip van on Friday nights
