Oak beamed 18th century pub near the church which has an ancient Saxon round tower. Curry night first Wednesday of the month. Heated smokers shelter outside. Dogs welcome but not in restaurant please. Worth navigating the narrow lanes to find this pub offering mainly national beers usually accompanied by at least one local ale. They advertise quiz nights, karaoke nights, a sports TV and have recently reinstated the pool table.
