Enthusiastic and enterprising new licensees (2023) serving a changing choice of Real Ales. Skittle alley / function room available for private hire. The pub has had a makeover in contemporary colours but retaining a traditional style and decor. Exceedingly keen prices for the area, including the very extensive menu to suit most palates. Dogs welcome in the bar where you will find a cosy wood burning fire in the winter months. Spacious car park across the road. Accommodation is in two self-catering, two bedroom apartments. Saturday features a buffet style, all-you-can-eat breakfast served 10am - noon. Closed Mondays in winter.
