Traditional local pub, serving the town for over 300 years. The pub retains it beamed ceiling and other woodwork, and a brick-fronted bar. Home cooked meals at lunchtime with a relaxed atmosphere. Younger and noisier customers in the evenings. There is a beer garden to the side of the pub. A pool table and darts board are located in the upstairs room.
