A splendidly converted flour mill incorporating the water wheel, with a series of open plan rooms spread over three levels with bars on the first two floors. The large outside decking area has unparalleled views across the raging river Dee to the restored steam railway station. Six pumps serve five regularly changing beers and one cider. Primarily a restaurant with the drinking area being confined to the ground floor bar and outside. High quality food is served throughout the day.

Conversion

A splendidly converted flour mill incorporating the striking water wheel and the gear equipment from the mill, which is suspended from the ceiling. A series of open-plan rooms is spread over three levels with bars on the first two floors. The large outside drinking area is well designed and has great views across the river Dee to the restored steam railway station. Primarily a restaurant with the main drinking areas being the ground floor bar, which has a wooden counter and beamed ceiling, or outside. There is a pleasing unity of style of the former function of the building with its contemporary character. There is real ale and cider and meals are served all day.
